What the squad say

"As a place to live, work and ski on your working holiday - Whistler is iconic. But with that can come crowded slopes and competition for jobs and housing - especially for Whistler Blackcomb. For the best chances of landing a winter job in Whistler, get your hiring preferences down as soon as the IEC visa pools open - usually in Dec/Jan the year before."

Garibaldi Lift Company

Garibaldi Lift Company

Follow and find out more
While Whistler isn’t exactly lacking when it comes to après joints, we’d argue that the Garibaldi Lift Company – or the ‘GLC’ – is one of the finest to whet your whistle. At the base of one of the main runs into the village, it’s a 'too cool for ski school' spot with outdoor fire pits, patio parties, live DJ sets, gastro grub, and great views to watch people rip down the slopes.

Après Après

Follow and find out more
So much fun it had to be named twice, Après Après is the place to go if you’re looking for a rager. This club is open until the wee hours and has DJs pumping the tunes all night long. The music changes depending on the night, so head to their socials to check out what’s on. And maybe try and schedule a late shift for the next day...

Whistler Bungee

Follow and find out more
This is one for you big boy/girl pants. Perched high above the glacier-fed Cheakamus River and surrounded by basalt cliffs and pine forested-slopes, this 50-metre high bungee is arguably one of the most scenic jumps in the world. It’s also open throughout the year. So come rain, snow or shine – you don't have any excuse not to take the leap.
