To get between Whistler and Whistler Blackcomb mountains, you’ll need to ride the Peak2Peak – the world’s longest and highest unsupported gondola. Expect knockout views and, for the brave, glass-bottomed gondolas. (Those with vertigo need not apply). Off the mountain, the town itself gives off serious snow-globe vibes and is split between Whistler Village and Upper Village – just a five-minute walk from each other. Famous for its nightlife and culinary treats, after a shift and stint on the slopes, there’s 200+ restaurants, bars, breweries and pubs to get stuck into.

What Whistler rocks in winter, it matches in outdoor adventures come spring and summer. There’s an excellent biking park – as well as countless tree-lined trails down the surrounding mountains. There’s also amazing hiking (and if you’re lucky, a glimpse of one of 60 resident black bears), canoeing, kayaking, SUP, via ferrata, and ziplining down the longest zipline in North America. For chilled days off the trails, take a picnic to either Green or Alta Lakes to soak up the Insta-quote views.
