Toronto’s late night menu caters for all – whether you want a quiet drink and a chinwag or several rounds of moonshine and wiggle. King West is popular for the latter. It’s your classic night out – dressy, drinky and probably a fair amount of queuing on a weekend night. Dundas West is the other extreme. It’s more of a local vibe with hole-in-the-wall clubs and indie nights. Similar scene to Kensington Market where you go for next-to-the-drinks-table-dancing and late night snacks.

For an all-rounder, where you can get a big night feel without the hassle, try Ossington Strip’s dive bars and club nights. You can bar hop with relative ease, without committing to a ‘big one’...until it’s too late. You should also check out Church and Wellesley, guaranteed good times with LGBTQ+ clubs, drag shows and high energy into the early hours.

Summer, kicking off in June, is festival season when party shirts descend on the city’s patios and parks. It’s hot but never too hot, and there’s always a lot going on. September through to October are the best months to explore with moderate temperatures and stunning autumn landscapes to kick through.
