Pre-arranged jobs

Where we can, we include the option of securing a summer or ski season job before you go with one of our vetted working holiday employers. And for those destinations that don't have defined seasonal work, we include job support when you arrive to help you get set up and start earning.

Arrival essentials

Every JENZA Work includes the essentials you need to work overseas. This typically includes bank account set up, tax numbers, medical insurance (USA only) and a SIM card. Plus, hostel nights and socials when you land to help you settle in (excludes USA).

All working holidays experiences

Often taken as part of a gap year, working holidays are extended trips where you’re permitted to stay longer than a tourist visa and do paid work. Designed by governments to get a taste of living and working abroad, they’re typically for 18-30 year olds – with some countries allowing travellers up to 35. Although there are happy exceptions, most working holiday visas allow you to stay for 12 months. You’re usually only allowed one visa per lifetime for that country, although some countries do have returner visas.
Working holidays are a one-time window in your twenties to work abroad without the financial restrictions and employment red tape of emigration visas. It’s the chance to live in a new country and do casual, career or seasonal work to help fund your time there. Far from being seen as a stop gap between the academic world and ‘the real world’, future employers love to see international work and travel on a CV. It shows you have the independence, confidence and soft skills to live and work abroad.

Good time and a long time

Working holidays are a lower impact way to travel.

By staying longer, paying tax dollars and spending in local communities – you'll contribute more. Living and earning as a local, instead of visiting as a traveller.
